GENTLE ANNIE VAN PARK

We had a lazy day Easter Sunday- sat in the sun after walking into town- 1 hour- to see if anyone had Sunday papers. On the way back had a good chat with the dairy farmer. He was in the process of lifting a few cows up with a winch as they were down with Milk fever. He milks 480 twice a day, with over 500 head in his herd. Have not smelt molassses for many many years- the cows were having a good feed of the black sticky liquid.
Made the 3 ingredient fruit cake & custard which we had for plum pudding for dinner last night.

This is the herd of cows which are the cause of all the flies. We had a group photo done this morning as well.

We decided to get some scones out of freezers for morning tea this morning-
sampled the Blueberry Jam which I got at a farm stall.
